  • What testing and evaluation services do UCL offer?

    UCL test and evalutaion services include:


    • Dimensional and visual inspection
    • Secure seal testing
    • Torque testing
    • Carbonation retention testing
    • Drop testing
    • Ball Impact testing
    • Cycle testing

  • How long does a typical inspection and testing service at UCL take to complete?

    This is entirely based on the complexity and volume of work required but the experience of the team and the quality and performance of the equipment in our laboratory means that a service of this nature will always be completed in a timely manner. As a recent example, a requirement of a full dimensional inspection on 196 product pieces was actioned and a completed report sent to the customer within 2 weeks of payment being received.

  • Is the equipment used to test and evaluate products calibrated?

    UCL will always ensure that equipment within the laboratory is calibrated either in house to an internal standard operating procedure or off-site via an approved sub-contractor – always to UKAS standards.
